Bidwise is built to help freelancers generate smarter proposals and make better client decisions. This Privacy Policy explains how Bidwise collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal and business data when you use the Service.
This policy is designed to support compliance with the GDPR, the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, the CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA, the Australian Privacy Act 1988, the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, and the Indian Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
What We Collect
We may collect account email addresses, proposal inputs, proposal outputs, company or client identifiers, plan information, usage counters, authentication metadata, billing references, and technical logs needed for security, abuse prevention, reliability, and support.
How We Use Data
We use data to authenticate users, enforce subscription features, process proposal requests, review usage limits, investigate abuse, support billing, and improve the product. We do not sell personal data for money or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
AI Processing
Proposal and analysis requests may be processed by third-party AI providers configured by Bidwise. Users should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive personal information, bank details, payment credentials, or secrets in proposal inputs unless they explicitly choose to do so.
Storage and Security
Bidwise uses signed session cookies, request throttling, and server-side plan enforcement. Depending on deployment configuration, usage data may be stored in managed infrastructure such as Supabase, Redis, or other secure cloud services.
Regional Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, or lodge a complaint. In the UK, EU, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and India, these rights are supported to the extent required by local law. For India, you should ensure the relevant consent or lawful basis exists before submitting third-party data to the Service.
Retention
We retain data only as long as needed for account access, subscription enforcement, operational debugging, legal obligations, payment reconciliation, security investigations, and product improvement.
Your Rights
Users may request access, correction, deletion, or export of their personal data, subject to legal and operational requirements. Contact the Bidwise team through the support or privacy channel listed on your deployment for any privacy request or grievance.
